non use of glitch didnt try or put too much effort into a double game of Super Mario Brothers. it seems the timer on the non glitch use is stuck at the 7minute mark to 7minutes and 20seconds that no matter what you cant get better than a 7minute mario when using no glitches.and the only 4minute mario is the second quest and starting at level 8-1to8-4 that's the only time you can get a 4minute or 5minute super mario is by beating it once and playing the second quest and starting on level 8-1.somehow using no glitches still has a time cap on it. and when using glitches too it seems to penalize.i even got fireworks on a couple levels and it didnt effect my time whatsoever.
